Our Christmas Concert will be on Monday 8th December 2025 at 2:30pm in the Southside Community Centre, Nicolson Street, EH8 9ER. This year we are playing Haydn Symphony No 101 “The Clock”; Humperdinck Overture to Hansel and Gretel; and a selection of Christmas Carols.
Admission is free and all are welcome.

Following our concert I am pleased to announce that we raised £190 for Drake Music from our enthusiastic audience. I don’t ever remember such lengthy applause! Thank you all for making it such a success and to all those who worked hard to get everything set up in time.
Our new term will start on Monday 15th September and will finish on 8th December. Discussions are ongoing about our programme for the coming term more about which you will hear shortly.
In the meantime enjoy the break and make the most of this lovely summer weather.
Do come and join us for our Summer Concert on Monday 16th June at 2.30 pm in the Southside Community Centre, 117 Nicolson Street, Edinburgh EH8 9ER. We’ll be playing Mozart’s overture Idomeneo, Massenet’s Méditation, with violin soloist Sheena Jardine, and a selection from Rogers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! A great selection for a summer afternoon.
All are very welcome. Admission is free – no tickets required. Tea and coffee will be available. The concert is in aid of Drake Music Scotland, the nation’s leading arts organisation providing music making opportunities for people with disabilities, and we’ll have a collection basket available if you’d like to make a donation.
